MAS: "A competent, trusted, and clean financial centre"
On October 27, 2011, Mr Ravi Menon, Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, spoke at WMI's inaugural WMI Connection 2011. Mr Menon was the guest of honour at the event, which hosted 250 guests. His keynote address focused on three critical imperatives that will sustain Singapore's growth as a wealth management centre. They are:
- Raising competencies.
- Strengthening market conduct.
- Keeping the financial sector clean.
