Highlights of WMI Connection 2011 held on Oct 27
On October 27, WMI hosted WMI Connection 2011, an inaugural event that celebrated our eight successful year as the region's leading wealth management training centre. The dinner was held at The Ballroom, The Fullerton Hotel.
Led by Founder Chairman Mr Ng Kok Song, WMI played host to 250 invited guests including VIPs from various financial institutions and students who had successfully completed WMI programmes in 2011.

At the dinner, guest-of-honour Mr Ravi Menon, MD, Monetary Authority of Singapore, delivered the keynote address, speaking on the need for Singapore to be competent, trusted and clean in order to sustain its growth as a wealth management centre.

Later during the evening, two sets of awards were presented to past students of WMI: the WMI Award of Excellence – in recognition of outstanding performers from the 2011 programmes; and FICS Certificates – to professionals who have "demonstrated mastery of industry-established knowledge, skills and ethical standards to undertake the roles and responsibilities of the job that he or she is certified in."
